StreamPlay.TV is a streaming-media website which allows its users to share visual and audio content via the Internet.
When you [the User] utilize StreamPlay.TV [the Service] in order to share “Public” visual / audio / text [the Content], you are agreeing to license said Content under the Creative Commons 4.0 license, which allows re-use and remixing of said Content by third parties, including our Ad-Sociations Network [our Partners].
User-uploaded “Private” Content which is added to the Service, will retain all rights to said Content for the User, as long as said Content remains marked as “Private” on the Service.
User-uploaded “Public” Content which is added to the Service is automatically classified under the Creative Commons 4.0 (CC) license, with the User choosing whether to allow for Commercial re-use or not.
A User who shares “Public” Content may choose from two different Creative Commons 4.0 licenses:
A User who disallows Commercial Re-Use of their Content via the CC license is allowing their Content re-mixed by third parties for non-commercial purposes, with no recompense from StreamPlay or it’s Partners.
A User who allows Commercial Re-Use of their Content via the CC license may be entitled to varying levels of recompense from the StreamPlay and its Partners, including but not limited to: free gifts, exchange of in-kind services, and discounts on Partner-provided products or services.
For example: if a User uploads Content of themselves playing basketball in a Nike uniform, Nike may choose to utilize said Content in their advertisements, and the User may receive a product discount, a free product, and/ or a related service from a different Ad-Sociations partner.
StreamPlay and it’s Partners may utilize a User’s CC 4.0 Commercial-Reuse Content for the purposes of creating brand-relevant promotions and notices, including, but not limited to: video advertisements, audio advertisements, and print advertisements.
StreamPlay’s Ad-Sociations Partners may choose to work together, in order to create make a Meta-Ad-Sociations Network.
For example: Nike, NBA, and Apple could choose to partner together to offer a special Apple Watch band for a StreamPlay user shares Content of themselves playing basketball while wearing a Nike shirt and wearing an Apple Watch.
